This 500-year-old Medici style villa had me feeling like royalty. The estate is filled with secret paths, ponds, and gardens. Plus, the Italian wine.Oh, my heart! It reminded me why Italy is the most romantic place on earth.

They really need to work on their WiFi. I mean, who needs internet when you're staying in a picturesque villa surrounded by nature?

Nestled in the mountains, the villa is a 500-year-old Medici-style retreat that immerses you in history and charm. It's like stepping into a time machine and living la dolce vita in the Renaissance era.

The rooms at Villa Bertagni are absolutely charming and cozy. I felt like I was staying in a fairytale cottage. The seating area in certain units is a great spot to unwind and read a book or enjoy a drink. The private bathrooms are clean and well-equipped with modern amenities. I loved the outdoor pools, perfect for a refreshing swim on a hot day. The main villa is stunning, and exploring the estate made me feel like a true aristocrat.

The only drawback for me was the lack of a bathtub in the private bathroom. However, I understand that some guests may prefer a shower instead.

The location was perfect for us, close to the city center and with easy access to public transportation, which made our travels much smoother. The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful, providing us with fantastic restaurant recommendations and even helping us book a tour. The breakfast included homemade pastries and fresh fruit, which was a great way to start our day.

Honestly, there wasn't anything we didn't like about our stay. The only downside was that we had to eventually leave and go back to our normal lives.

De locatie was geweldig, op loopafstand van vele attracties en dichtbij het centrum van de stad. Het hotel was schoon en had veel ruimte om te zitten, te chillen, te drinken en te ontspannen. Ook het zwembad was ruim en hoefde niet gereserveerd te worden. Daarnaast was er een parkeergarage onder het hotel, wat erg handig was.
